Description of Camphor Essential Oil

Borneo Camphor essential oil has a Sassafras-like, camphoraceous odor. A steam distilled oil is obtained from the chipped wood of older trees, which yields oil according to the borneol content. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AROMATHERAPY. See "Specific Safety Information."

Specific Safety Information: NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AROMATHERAPY. Camphor essential oil may be carcinogenic and hepatotoxic. Yellow and brown Camphor essential oil should not be used in aromatherapy.
