Description of Cedarwood Essential Oil Virginian

The scent of Cedarwood Virginian essential oil is at first oily and woody with a sweet balsamic odor typical of cedarwood lumber. The Oil is a pale yellow to slightly orange yellow oil that is slightly less viscous than Atlas Cedarwood. It is steam distilled from the wood of J. virginiana, commonly known as Southern Red Cedarwood

The Aromatherapy Place offers a variety of Cedarwood essential oils to suit your preference. Cedarwood Virginian is different from Cedarwood Atlas, chemically and from the standpoint of its scent. The tree C. atlantica (Atlas) is a pine, not a cypress as is the Virginian cedarwood.

Why Auroma 100% pure and natural, therapeutic grade Cedarwood Virginian essential oil from The Aromatherapy Place: Some dishonest Companies combine botanical species to create a cheaper version of an essential oil. As an example, the most common Lavender type comes from Lavadula angustifolia. There is also a cheaper version which comes from Lavandula X inTermedia. The two oils are combined, unbeknownst to you, resulting in a cheaper version of Lavender. Auroma guarantees the botanical species origin for each essential oil through testing and analysis, and states it on their product label – so quality and origin are always assured.

Please note: Some essential oils, such as Aniseed, Cedarwood and Peppermint Arvensis will solidify in the cold. This is normal, they will melt and dissolve if gently warmed. At The Aromatherapy Place we immerse the whole sealed container in warm water.
