Description of Chamomile German Essential Oil

Historically, the herb and nursery trades have known two types of Chamomile. The German or Hungarian type - Matricaria chamomile or Chamomile recutita, and Chamomile Roman Anthemis or English type. The German and Roman Chamomiles are very distinguishable, and the effects of one can in no way be associated with the other

Chamomile Matricaria essential oil has a characteristic, strong, sweet, green-herb scent with almost apple like back notes. The pure, undiluted oil has an intense odor which some find overwhelming and unpleasant. The true oil is a deep, inky-blue color and is somewhat viscous. This Chamomile contains normal levels of azulene. It is steam distilled from the dried flower heads of M. recutita. Matricaria recutita has bright yellow flowers and white petals

The Aromatherapy Place offers a variety of Chamomile essential oils to suit your preference. Over time, treat yourself to a special sensual experience by trying and comparing the qualities of each

Why Auroma, 100% pure and natural, therapeutic grade Chamomile German essential oil from The Aromatherapy Place: Unscrupulous producers often adulterate their essential oils. Auroma has an on-site full laboratory where all essential oils undergo rigorous testing and analysis. This is done using the latest in Quality Assurance with Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) equipment to accurately analyze each batch of essential oils we receive from our farmers and distillers. This is done even with the growers Auroma has dealt with for over 20 years. Every batch, every time!

For those of you who would like to enjoy the exquisite aroma and wonderful properties of Chamomile German at a more affordable price, you can also find it at The Aromatherapy Place as a 3% dilution in Jojoba.
