Rose hydrosol is the aromatic botanical water left over from the steam distillation of fresh rose petals during essential oil production. Unlike standard rose water—which is typically just an infusion of rose petals in water or a mix of essential oil and water—a true hydrosol contains micro-droplets of essential oils and water-soluble plant compounds captured directly from the flower.
