Profile

“…a psychic protector…use ‘Rosemary Essential Oil’ first thing in the morning before exposing oneself to all the external influences. Rosemary oil is associated with clear thought and is helpful wherever there is a need for clarity.” (Davis P. Subtle aromatherapy. The CW. /Daniel company Limited, Great Britain, 1991.)

Rosmarinus officinalis is a small evergreen shrub which grows up to 7 ft tall. It has thick, aromatic linear leaves. Rosemary Spanish Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves, flowers and twigs of R. officinalis. The color of the oil is pale yellow to almost colorless. Rosemary Spanish Essential Oil has a strong, clear, penetrating, refreshing, herbal-like aroma.

The Aromatherapy Place offers several AUROMA Rosemary Essential Oils to suit your preference. We receive many questions about the difference between our Rosemary oils, including which is the best oil to use for specific therapeutic purposes. While they are generally interchangeable, there are some differences in the chemotypes of each oil. A chemotype is a variation within the chemistry of an oil that is produced from the same botanical species. This can be due to geographical or environmental differences where the plant is grown. Over time, treat yourself to a special sensual experience by trying and comparing the qualities of each. Rosemary Spanish is the most used Rosemary essential oil in aromatherapy practices.

FACT: Rosemary has a rich and interesting history from being found in Egyptian tombs dating back to the First Dynasty (about 3000 BC), along with the enchanting Greek legends that perceive, the beautiful Greek goddess Aphrodite was draped with Rosemary as she rose from the sea.
