Profile

“…the strong, bittersweet spiciness of tea tree essential oil invigorates the heart and mind, uplifting the spirit and building confidence.” (Moay G. Aromatheraay for healing the spirit. Hodder and Stoughton, UK, 1996.)

Lemon Scented Tea Tree is a shrubby plant native to Australia and New Zealand. It is popular all over Australia as a garden ornamental small tree. It grows quickly to around 16 ft. Tea Tree Lemon Scented Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and terminal branches of the plant. The color of the oil is pale-yellow to almost clear. It has a fresh, strong, pleasant, lemon aroma. Besides exhibiting a revitalizing aroma, it has been said that L. petersonii “is more lemony than lemons.”

After years of research in Australia, it has been found that Tea Tree Oil is an active ingredient against all three (3) major infectious organisms of bacteria, fungal and viruses.

The Aromatherapy Place offers a variety of AUROMA Tea Tree Essential Oils to suit your preference. Over time, treat yourself to a special sensual experience by trying and comparing the qualities of each. There are slight variations in odor, color, and the levels of constituents within each oil. However, the oils are similar and can be used in place of one another. FACT: The Australian aborigines have long recognized the virtues of tea tree. The leaves were simply crushed in the hand and the volatile oil inhaled to relieve colds and headaches. The name tea tree was first used by Captain Cook in 1777, when the leaves of melaleuca or leptospermum were brewed to make a tea to prevent scurvy.

As AUROMA knows each of the Farmers, they guarantee the authenticity of each oil. Just to be certain, they analyze each oil using the latest state-of-the-art GC-MS technology, which can detect impurities to one part per billion. Yes! AUROMA represents the best there is in Essential Oils. We can supply the following documentation: Certificates of Analysis and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

To meet the stringent demands of the professional aromatherapist, AUROMA has drafted the following seven requirements that an essential oil needs to meet so it can be used with confidence:

  1. BIO-TYPE: Not only does an oil have to come from a defined botanical species, but from a particular genetic strain.
  2. CHEMO-TYPE: The same botanical species can often produce completely different constituents.
  3. GEO-TYPE: Oils from a particular area are often of superior quality. Examples are Rose Oil Bulgarian or Sandalwood East Indian.
  4. COMPLETE OR WHOLE: The oil should come from a single distillation and should not be rectified.
  5. WILD OR ORGANIC: Where possible, AUROMA always selects the wild growing plants for distillation. When wild types are not available, AUROMA commissions farmers who do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Certified Organic options are available.EX STILL: AUROMA distills small lots of ils in-house and advises farmers on distillation methods.
  6. ANALYYSIS: Oils are tested by AUROMA in Australia with the most advanced state-of- the-art equipment in the world.
