Citrus sinensis is a native of China and India. Valencia Oranges were first cultivated in southern California in the 1870’s. The tree which produces the Valencia Orange fruit is a straight, upright & strong tree, abundant with fruits. The Oil is cold pressed from the peel of the fruit. The color of the oil is yellow orange to darker orange. Orange Valencia Essential Oil has a sweet, fresh, fruity, tangy scent.
The Aromatherapy Place offers a variety of AUROMA Orange type essential oils to suit your preference, including Orange Sweet, Orange Navel, Orange Valencia, Tangerine and Mandarin. Over time, treat yourself to a special sensual experience by trying and comparing the qualities of each. There are slight variations in odor, color, and the levels of constituents within each oil. However, the oils are similar and can be used in place of one another. Forgive me but take a moment & “Stop and Smell the Oranges…” Visit each of our AUROMA Oranges available at The Aromatherapy Place.
NOTE: Citrus Oils in their pure state, may appear cloudy or contain small particles of wax. This occurs naturally in the oil and becomes most apparent when stored in cold areas. It is recommended, however, that these oils be stored in a cold place to ensure longevity and quality. If the clarity is a concern, you may wish to filter until clear, however once cooled again the cloudy appearance may return. The clarity may improve through storing the oil at room temperature, but this will reduce the shelf life and is not recommended.
